| Over the past decade, the World Bank (IBRD/IDA) has financed 22 projects in 16 countries, in the amount of nearly US$3 Billion. Below is a list of IBRD and IDA mining sector projects that are ongoing or recently completed. For each project the Project Information Document (PID) and/or abstract of the Staff Appraisal Report (SAR) can be accessed by clicking on the appropriate link. The PID gives a brief summary of an evolving project and is subject to upgrading and expansion as project preparation proceeds. The SAR contains a description of a project and the plan for its implementation, including procurement procedures. Hard copies of most staff appraisal reports are available through the InfoShop.
