- Review a project aimed at developing guidance on baseline methodologies in the oil and gas sector.
- Discuss a draft ECON report (prereading) that is the basis for presentations and discussions during this workshop.
- Discuss a technical study with questions raised requiring input.
- Receive guidance from key experts both in the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) process and with the potential flaring reduction project developers.
- Summarize the proposed guidelines and recommendations for flare reduction baseline methodologies.
- Review and discuss key features and challenges of flare reduction CDM projects under development by several GGFR partners.
- Publish workshop outcomes and the final project report from ECON.
Objective - Offer support for GGFR partners in their efforts to develop successful CDM flare reduction projects.
