A public electronic discussion of this Consultation Draft of the WDR was held between February 21 and March 31, 2000, giving many individuals and organizations the opportunity to voice their comments.The individual messages of the Public Electronic Discussion contain detailed feedback, case studies and suggestions. The Final Summary of this discussion, prepared independently from the World Bank by the moderators of the electronic discussion - Bretton Woods Project and New Policy Institute - aims to give an overview of key issues raised in the 6 week discussions. Ravi Kanbur, former director of the WDR team, reacts to the major points of potential disagreement in his Response to the Final Summary.
