Poverty Reduction Strategies -- Country Papers and JSAs

These country documents, along with the accompanying IMF/World Bank Joint Staff Assessments (JSAs), are being made available on the World Bank and IMF websites by agreement with the member country as a service to users of the World Bank and IMF websites.

Poverty Analysis

Poverty analyses encompass many different types of documents, including country economic memorandums, poverty updates, social development reports, poverty notes, living standards studies, poverty diagnostics, poverty profiles and poverty assessments.

Poverty Monitoring

A collection of studies on country experiences with poverty monitoring. Some studies evaluate the country's poverty monitoring system as a whole, while others concentrate on institutional arrangements, national statistical systems, or statistical capacity building. Also included in this collection are the national poverty monitoring plans of several countries.

Impact Evaluation

This collection of impact evaluations is not intended to be a comprehensive catalogue of impact evaluations conducted at the World Bank; rather it highlights some of the recently completed and ongoing impact evaluation initiatives. The impact evaluations are organized on this page by country.

Poverty and Social Impact Analysis (PSIA)

The PSIA approach can be used to analyze the poverty and social impacts of a variety of reforms in different sectors and in different regions. This section presents examples of PSIA that show how the approach was used to analyze the impacts of specific reforms and in different countries.
