Local-Global Connectivity for Voices of the Poor Workshop, December 11-13 2000

There is a wide disconnect between poor people’s realities and global decision-making. To address this gap, a group of nearly 100 representatives of poor people’s membership-based organizations, multi-lateral organizations, foundations, governments, Executive Directors, and staff across the World Bank and International Finance Corporation came together at World Bank headquarters December 11-13 2000 for a workshop on “Local – Global Connectivity for Voices of the Poor.”
