Equity is an area of increasing interest. Substantial reductions in global poverty have -in some cases- been coupled with stubbornly high levels of inequality. There is no clear explanation of why that is. Frequent crises also raise questions about the equity implications of public policies.

This course presented current issues regarding the diagnosis, analysis and policy dialogue around Equity. Here you will find material on (i) Equality of Opportunities, (ii) The Equitable Use of Public Resources (taxes & subsidies), (iii) Distribution as Part of the Policy Dialogue; and, (iv) Economic Mobility.
