Impacts of Shocks – Climate Change

The expected poverty and distributional impacts of climate change are challenging the development efforts around the globe. They will, through multiple channels, exacerbate the incidence, severity and persistence of poverty. This program aims at quantifying the poverty and distributional effects that will result from these phenomena. We do it by deepening the empirical basis for developing and implementing adaptation and mitigation strategies.
