The events surrounding the development and release of the Empowerment and Poverty Reduction Sourcebook brought together a wide range of World Bank staff working on empowerment-related issues and indicated that empowerment increasingly is a concept present in the Bank's work. As a result an active Community of Practice was formed in winter of 2003 with the purpose of exchanging information and experiences. Members of the Community of Practice have explored a range of empowerment related topics through brown bag lunches, learning events and newsletter articles. Following please find links to presentations/summaries from the events and articles from the newsletter. | Brown Bag Lunches | | |  |
