Michael Lokshin and Zurab Sajaja (DECRG) have developed a new set of computational tools designed to simplify the production of poverty updates and the poverty profile/dynamics chapters of poverty assessment. The new computational tools, written in STATA, can quickly create tables/graphs that are used in the typical poverty assessment in the Bank. The presenter will demonstrate the program and discuss its potential applications.
