Making the PRS Happen: Linking the PRS to National Monitoring and Budget Reporting Systems

Description: Integrating PRSs with domestic processes and improving the prioritization, sequencing and monitoring of policy actions, remains a key challenge to enhance the effectiveness of PRS. The workshop will discuss the broad issues faced when linking PRSs to budget reporting, and how to establish an effective monitoring system linking data, analysis and decision-making processes.

Target Audience: Staff interested in improving the effectiveness of PRSs, and in particular the link to monitoring systems and budget reporting. The course is particularly recommended for those staff (e.g. operations, country economists) involved in assisting Governments strengthen their monitoring systems, and in advising on budget planning and reporting instruments.
