Literature Survey on Corruption (2000-2005)

In many respects, the issue of corruption has been demystified and put to the forefront of development agenda due to the joint efforts of scholars, practitioners, and policy-makers. While the contribution of early scholarship on governance and corruption was essential to recognize that corruption is inimical to development, the recent literature on corruption has been very innovative in examining various aspects of corruption microscopically and suggesting anti-corruption measures to control and put an end to the cancer of corruption. This literature survey collects books, volumes, articles and working papers to inform both policy and scholarly community of the types of works that have been written recently on the subject matter of corruption.
