The weather in Arusha is generally cool, but in recent years the dry season is characterized by hot, dusty and windy days. During the month of December, the temperature ranges between 50-80 °F (10-26.7 °C), with an average of 8.2 rainy days.  Top  Conference Venue  The conference will be held at the Ngurdoto Mountain Lodge  which is 27 km from Arusha town and 25 km from Kilimanjaro International Airport .The Lodge is located on a 140 acre coffee plantation, with views of Mt Kilimanjaro and Mt Meru.  It has three conference rooms as well as a Business Centerwithinternet service and secretarial facilities.  Top  Accommodation  The conference hotel, Ngurdoto Mountain Lodge has 132 residential rooms on premises. Since space is limited, additional participants can be accommodated at the Impala Hotel, located in Arusha town, operated by the same management. Transportation will be available from the Impala Hotel to the conference hotel every morning, with a return shuttle after the conference every evening. Taxis are available at the airport for travel to area hotels.  Due to limited flight schedules and availability, participants may also plan to arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Kenya.  Jomo Kenyatta International Airport is approximately 3-4 hours from the Ngurdoto Mountain Lodge overland. Visas may be obtained in advance by nationals coming from a country where there is a Tanzania Embassy, High Commission or Consulate to issue a visa or be obtained on arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, provided all immigration and health requirement are met. In order to expedite the application process, it is advised that the visa application form can be printed out and completed prior to arriving at. The fee is approximately USD 50.00.
