Post-Conflict Needs Assessment

As countries emerge from conflict, the international community increasingly relies on comprehensive post-conflict needs assessments (PCNA) to determine funding needs and longer-term reconstruction plans. PCNAs are generally led by the UN and the World Bank. The results then become the centerpiece of donor conferences which determine the pattern and level of international support for a country's post-conflict reconstruction.
