This was the official launch of the Community of Practice on Social Accountability, an initiative that aims to bring people who are working together in the field of social accountability to exchange lessons and share experiences. The Peru, Ghana, and Philippines Country Offices as well as the Jordan GDLN site participated via videoconnection.
Ms. Ritva Reinikka, Development Economics (DEC) Manager presented the Social Accountability perspective in the World Development Report 2004.
