Communication and Disability at the World Congress on Communication for Development

 

October 25-27, 2006, Rome - The World Congress on Communication for Development (WCCD) was the first global event on this issue and was attended by almost 700 participants from development agencies, policy makers and communication professionals.  Our Special Session on "Communication and Disability" was a joint event organized by the World Bank Disability & Development Team, in collaboration with the UNICEF Communication Team, with the financial support of the Italian Cooperation.
