This presentation provided an overview of the key findings and overall recommendations of the World Report on Disability. The findings include the impact of barriers faced by persons with disabilities that often result in less education, poor health, smaller wages and salaries, and comparatively higher poverty and economic dependency for disabled people. Discussion also included the natural collaboration between WHO and the World Bank on this report, and the ways in which the report is being used to facilitated dialogue within the World Bank project leaders and their country counterparts.
