Promoting Job Quality & Productive Employment in MENA - banner

In October 2010, the World Bank and the ILO held a joint course on Promoting Job Quality and Productive Employment in the Middle East and North Africa. The main objective of the training was to support the adoption of more effective and inclusive labor market and employment policies, taking into consideration of how these may apply or be adjusted to rapidly changing labor market realities in the region. In response to the vulnerability caused by widespread low-quality informal employment, the featured topic of the course was informality and the job quality challenge.
