Program Profile

Objectives

  • provide beneficiary families with health and nutritional care, education and the issuance of identification documents in order to ensure preventative maternal-child health and nutrition, schooling without dropouts and promote registration and identification processes

Conditionalities

  • education: school attendance of at least 85% for children 6-14 years
  • health: health center visits for inoculations, growth and development monitoring and other preventative health care for children 0-5 years, and for pre- and post natal care for pregnant and lactating women
  • nutrition: participation in the "PACFO" program (food ration and attendance to training sessions) for beneficiary households with children 6 months - 3 years
  • documentation: participation in the program "Mi Nombre” by all families with children lacking birth certificates and/or older than 18 without I.D. card
  • housing: use of chlorine tablets

  • poorest households within rural communities having pregnant women, widowed parents, elderly members or persons having custody over children up to 14 years old
