Social Funds-related Social Protection Discussion Papers
Social Protection Discussion Papers are not formal publications of the World Bank. They present preliminary and unpolished results of analysis that are circulated to encourage discussion and comment; citation and the use of such a paper should take account of its provisional character. The findings, interpretations, and conclusions expressed in this paper are entirely those of the author(s) and should not be attributed in any manner to the World Bank, to its affiliated organizations or to members of its Board of Executive Directors or the countries they represent.

Social Funds Innovation Notes LogoSocial Funds Innovation Notes
These notes are published informally by the Social Funds Thematic Group of the World Bank's Human Development Network.  "Innovations" include a new twist on the subproject cycle (for example, a new participatory technique, an innovative targeting strategy, or an answer to the recurrent cost financing nightmare); a new component that departs from the mainstream; or new ways of doing business (for example, partnering more closely with government, providing matching grants to communities, or working more closely with NGOs).  Some issues are also available in French, Spanish and Russian.
