  • National Archives and Records Administration, Code of Federal Regulations 
    The Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) is a codification of the general and permanent rules published in the Federal Register by the Executive departments and agencies of the Federal Government. The CFR online is a joint project authorized by the publisher, the National Archives and Records Administration's Office of the Federal Register, and the Government Printing Office (GPO) to provide the public with enhanced access to Government information. Regulations relating to transportation may be found at this Web site.

    TRB Web page providing a wealth of current information on research in transportation innovations, and policy and practice. Includes an electronic catalogue and links to two important bibliographical databases - TRIS (Transportation Research Information Service) and PATH (an extensive database pertaining to Intelligent Transportation Systems).

    The UK Transport Research Laboratory (TRL) web site contains a wealth of information about the organization's capabilities, experience and facilities.     The US Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) was established for the purposes of data collection, analysis and reporting, and to ensure the most cost-effective use of transportation-monitoring resources. The BTS Web page contains a variety of information, including access to the National Transportation Library, various databases, product information and services, GIS, international transportation, transportation studies, statistical policy and research.
