Workshop on Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) in Highways: Institutional, Legal, Financial, and Technical Aspects Sponsored by TUDTR and IEF October 6, 2005 World Bank, Washington, DC
This workshop is designed to increase participants' knowledge in several areas, including PPP options, selection of concessionaires, establishment of regulatory institutions for toll roads, improving governance in highway PPP concessions, and traffic forecast risks and impacts on revenues. The speakers and attendees will share international experience in highway PPP projects, including successful and unsuccessful stories. It will also include a demonstration of the financial simulation model of the Bank's Toolkit for PPP in Highways.
