Robin Carruthers

Robin Carruthers was until recently Lead Transport Economist at the World Bank, now a consultant with the Energy, Transport and Water Department, and also working with the Europe and Central Asia, East Asia and Pacific and Middle East and North Africa and Africa Regions. He is currently working on an Infrastructure and Transport Strategy for Mongolia, design and implementation of a new taxi service for Cairo, a Trade and Transport Action Plan for South Asia, a strategy for increasing the trade potential of Land Locked countries, a development corridor project for Egypt, assessing the transport investment needs of the Bank’s client countries in Africa, as well as advising on the economic evaluation of several transport investment projects.
