Professor, Dr Med Sc, Claes Tingvall isDirector of Traffic Safety at the Swedish Road Administration.
Claes Tingvall has held positions related to traffic safety since 1976, and has mainly published in injury epidemiology, occupant protection and study design/analysis in advanced field accident data collection.
More recently, Claes Tingvall has been professor and director of Monash University Accident Research Centre, where he currently holds a prefessorship. Since 2001, Claes Tingvall is Director of Traffic Safety in Sweden.
Since 2004 Claes Tingvall is also chairman of EuroNCAP.
