WASHINGTON, July 8, 2008- The following project was approved today by the World Bank’s Board of Executive Directors:
IDA Grant: US$5.44 million
Program Description: The project aims to establish and consolidate the operations of the newly-created Ministry of Transport (MoT) as a unified transport sector- policy, planning and regulatory ministry and to improve the level of compliance of the civil aviation and maritime sub-sector entities with international safety and security standards.
