Transforming Transportation 2013


    

EMBARQ and the World Bank co-hosted the tenth annual Transforming Transportation conference at the World Bank in Washington, D.C. on January 17-18, 2013. The event provided a unique opportunity for the global transport community to discuss how to achieve large-scale and widespread adoption of sustainable solutions.

Dr. Jim Yong Kim, President of the World Bank, and The Honorable Michael Bloomberg, Mayor of New York City, took part in a keynote session on the future of urban transport on January 18, 2013.
