New study draws on the World Bank's experience with railway development in China to explore how to mitigate the environmental impact of high-speed rail expansion in the country.
South Sudan received a US$38 million World Bank grant to help rehabilitate feeder roads and increase access to rural communities in high agricultural potential areas.
The World Bank is collaborating on a new online platform in Beijing to allow anyone to report issues on cycling and walking infrastructure via web, smart phone apps, SMS or social media.
