Edward Daoud



Edward Daoud has over 20 years experience in the airline industry prior to joining the World Bank as Senior Finance Officer. He is an expert in airline financing, restructuring and all aspects of airline marketing and operations. He introduced the preferred airline policy to the Bank thereby saving 20 million dollars annually to the Bank’s travel budget.

Earlier in his professional career Edward worked 18 years with Air Canada being involved in every aspect of its operations including its privatization, 3 years in IATA and 3 years consulting to major carriers including American, Northwest, SAA, BWIA as well as Montreal Airports.

Edward has an MBA from Columbia School of Business in New York.
