These commemorative video and book trace the Lao PDR development story, from the 1960s and onto subsequent years which transformed the country’s economy and redefined its development potential. It includes interviews with people who have and continue to witness the evolution of their country’s development, among them a rural farmer who saw his community’s rice harvest double after irrigation was introduced and a fish vendor who can now send her children to school because of access to paved roads.
