    The World Bank Trade website is a research, training, and outreach tool for people interested in trade  policy and developing countries. In addition to the capacity-building activities of the World Bank Institute and the World Bank's Research Group, it provides information on complementary programs through the Integrated Framework for Trade-Related Technical Assistance to Least Developed Countries and the joint World Bank-WTO website.

  • Trade and Transport Facilitation in Southeast Europe Program Regional (TTFSE)
    TTFSE fosters trade by promoting more efficient and less costly trade flows across the countries in Southeast Europe and provides European Union-compatible customs standards. The participants in the program include Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Moldova, Romania and the State Union of Serbia and Montenegro.

    The goal of SSATP is to improve the international competitiveness of Sub-Saharan African economies with particular attention to ports and maritime transport.   • UN Trade Facilitation & E-Business Centre
    This website provides trade facilitation recommendations, electronic business standards, and technical specifications for the three pillars - processes, information and technology - that are vital in the development of world trade.

    UNCTAD's multimodal transport section includes information on trade facilitation issues, and especially descriptions of training and technical assistance programs they propose.

  • World Customs Organization (WCO)
    WCO is the only intergovernmental organisation exclusively focused on Customs matters. It is particularly noted for its work in areas covering the development of global standards, the simplification and harmonisation of Customs procedures, trade supply chain security, the facilitation of international trade, the enhancement of Customs enforcement and compliance activities, anti-counterfeiting and piracy initiatives, public-private partnerships, integrity promotion, and sustainable global Customs capacity building programmes.
