• Transport against HIV AIDS: Contribution to World AIDS Day, December 1, 2005
  This year, the contribution of the Transport sector to the fight against HIV/AIDS is a key theme in the Bank-wide activities to mark World AIDS Day - December 1, 2005. Key experience of the Bank and other organizations was reviewed in three "Transport against AIDS" Sessions. These sessions were designed to draw attention to the comparative advantage and capacity of other agencies and to emphasize opportunities to make national programs more effective through cooperation with the private sector, NGOs, and affiliate organizations representing transport employees.
