World Urban Forum 5 brought together some of the best minds on urbanization, each seeking to understand the phenomenon better in order to master it more. The World Bank Group was there to share its knowledge with others, working together to develop the projects and programs that will truly transform the lives of the urban poor. The World Bank's new urban strategy calls for a broader-based, scaled-up approach to urban poverty, focusing more than ever on policies and actions that can create livable cities.
