Poverty & Trade Research

There are several methodologies that can be used to study the impacts of trade on poverty:

• Using Statistical Methods and Household Surveys
• Using Computable General Equilibrium Models and
• Using Cross-Country Regressions.

These different methods use a variety of different data sources and of different analytical tools. In this site, you will find a brief description of the defining characteristics of these methods and of their data needs. A set of references will lead you to some of the main papers that compose each strand of literature.
