Thematic Group Session: Rural Infrastructure, Markets and Finance (RIMFI)

Many developing countries have difficulties with managing food safety and agricultural health for market access and for protecting human and agricultural health. The World Bank has embarked on a major effort to support developing countries. Work on China and Vietnam will be presented as examples and a panel will discuss whether support for managing food safety and agricultural health is a new business line for the Bank.
