The Banks undertakes analytical and advisory services, lending operations, training and capacity building, and non-lending technical assistance in a vast area of trade-related areas, from trade policy and standards to trade facilitation and logistics.

These activities focus on countries’ own reforms and complement the Bank’s Global Advocacy activities to support a trade agenda that is conducive to growth and poverty reduction at the multilateral, regional and country levels.
