Selecting the Right Learning Tools and Technologies

This section offers practical guidance on various tools that you can use to create effective blended learning experiences.  In blended learning, the focus is on designing with the right mix of face-to-face, videoconference, Web, CD-ROM, video, audio, and print, and on methods that are learner centric, interactive, participatory, and action oriented.

For each tool, we describe key characteristics, our experiences and lessons learned from using the tool, suggestions for when to use it or not to use, examples, design suggestions, and additional resources.  Keeping your audience and learning objectives in mind, you can explore these various tools to assess their fit and applicability for your specific learning program.
