The President of the World Bank Group is Mr. Robert B. Zoellick. He is chairman of the Bank’s Board of Executive Directors and president of five interrelated organizations.
The World Bank currently has 22 Vice Presidents who manage 6 geographic regions, 5 thematic networks, and 11 other operational units. The World Bank Institute (WBI), which delivers training and knowledge-sharing activities, is one of these operational vice presidential units.
The World Bank Institute's Management Team (WBIMT), which reports to WBI's Vice President includes all WBI managers. This group meets on a regular basis and takes decisions on strategic directions, resource allocation, the work program, strategic staffing, and WBI-wide processes.
