The city of Marseilles and the World Bank Group are partnering have built the capacity of urban municipal teams in the MENA region by setting up a European/MENA urban management hub. The hub supports, on demand, the preparation of city development strategies, and promotes training activities that respond to local needs, and knowledge sharing about approaches to the socioeconomic development of cities. It strengthens networks to exchange experiences and expertise and support regional training institutions in the area of municipal management.
