The KNA-MENA training facilities allow people in Marseille to meet with counterparts and colleagues around the world for Courses, Seminars, Meetings, Development Dialogues or Web-based Programs through videoconferencing and high-speed internet, and using blended learning techniques.

Videoconferencing  allows people in two or more sites to see, hear and speak with one another, as well as share documents and make presentations, despite being geographically apart.  It is a versatile and powerful tool, the only method of electronic communication that comes close to simulating a direct face-to-face situation.

Blended learning  involves a mixture of learning activities and delivery modes that suits individual learners. Learning activities may include case studies, research, work-place practice, role-plays, lectures, discussions and projects. Examples of delivery modes include face-to-face and distance learning modes such as video-conferencing, the web, CD-Rom, radio and television.  A number of multi-media tools are also available to GDLN users.
