  • Measuring Law and Institutions: Second Workshop• Organized by Universite Paris X Nanterre, Paris, France • The second workshop focused on methodological challenges in the construction of quantitative approaches of law, institutions and their socio-economic impacts, and gathered academics who have constructed indicators of their own, developed innovative technologies and criticized some of the indicators currently used • 14 - 15 December 2007
  • Transparency and Ethical Values• San Salvador, El Salvador • This program brought awareness to the Salvadorian community in regards to the importance of judiciary transparency and access to information as ways to improve democracy in the country. A series of conferences, workshops and panel discussions took place focusing on several issues, including; transparency (municipal, judiciary, electoral), government effectiveness (e-government, government acquisitions) and accountability (access to information).
