By now we all now about the increasing relevance of the Blogosphere.  So the World Bank and the governance community are joining it. Blogs are providing broader voice and spearheading new forms of transparent and participatory debate and disclosure.  It is a welcomed antidote to censorship and information control. The World Bank has already started a blog on Private Sector Development, and one on Poverty in South Asia, and is also starting one on Communication, Public Opinion and Governance. Given the importance we ascribe to having an open and inclusive debate and knowledge-sharing on Governance and Corruption issues, we are finalizing preparations on an institutional World Bank Blog on this. Stay tuned. In the meantime, everybody is also welcomed to view and share comments, thoughts, papers and ideas on governance, transparency and corruption in this personal blog, at http://thekaufmannpost.net, or, depending on your interest, visit any one of the other blogs listed below.
