Use of Funds The amounts allocated each year have made it possible for the Program to support more than 3,754 scholars between 1987 and 2007. Cost per scholar The estimated average annual cost per scholar in the various JJ/WBGSP Programs was around $33,000 in FY07. Program Administration The administration of the JJ/WBGSP is undertaken through a Steering Committee and a Secretariat. The Steering Committee provides the overall direction for the Program and annually selects candidates to receive scholarships. The Secretariat is responsible for day-to-day function of the JJ/WBGSP.
