The primary objective of the Program is to offer graduate-level training in Economic Policy Management (EPM) for middle-level policy advisors from African countries and emerging market economies. Specifically, the Program aims to provide high-level training, focusing on both the theoretical and practical aspects of economic policy management, and to educate policy advisors on macroeconomic management issues for developing countries.

Some scholarship awards are available for highly qualified applicants. The scholarship is sufficient to support the participant only and not his/her family. Qualified EPM applicants, from any eligible borrowing World Bank member country are automatically considered for the JJ/WBGSP available through the EPM Program.
