    • Participated in the identification of natural resources management project ideas and their appraisal, preparation of project profiles in consultation with the national government and the donor community, and timely processing of project approval

    • Team Leader: Central Hidroelectrica Ralco ( Bio Bio River, Chile) and Gasoducto Transandino (Argentina-Chile). This included coordinating the evaluation and permitting process, hiring consultants, designing and implementing auditing systems and enforcing regulations
    • Provided social science expertise in the process of Environmental Impact Assessment of large-scale projects, such as hydroelectric plants, pipelines, pulp mills, highways, thermal power plants, tourist development projects and land use planning. Some of these projects affected indigenous people and included resettlement plans
    • Participated in the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment and Public Consultation processes in the following projects: Trillium Logging Project ( Tierra del Fuego, Chile), Valdivia pulp mill project (S.J. Mariquina, Chile), Costanera Norte Highway ( Santiago, Chile), Cascada wood processing and industrial complex ( Puerto Montt, Chile), Mejillones Port ( Antofagasta, Chile)
    • Supported the Undersecretary of Regional Development in the implementation of the Environmental Impact Assessment System in Municipalities. Developed a strategy for public involvement for local governments in the EIA process as part of the World Bank project "Development of Environmental Institutions"
