Domestic Civil Engineer and Strategic and Action planner - Conducted field surveys of provincial towns and small towns, as determined by DHUP and ADB, to assess the service levels, physical and environmental conditions, and operation and maintenance of urban infrastructure systems in the Lao PDR. Analyzed the basic topographical landscape, natural drainage flows, layout of water supply systems, solid waste collection, riverbank protection works, and road patterns and networks. Prepared an inventory of various urban systems and networks.
- Interviewed officials from DCTPC, UDAA, and provincial governments regarding investment needs for urban services for select towns and summarize the findings. Prepared, together with the municipal engineer, the most likely maximum and minimum demand for urban infrastructure for the planning period 2005-2020 for Vientiane, all provincial towns, and small towns, as agreed upon by DHUP and ADB.
- Prepared, together with the municipal engineer, a preliminary design and costing for basic urban systems, prioritizing of activities, and time-bound sequencing of activities: water supply, drainage, roads, sewerage, riverbank protection, and other necessary infrastructure.
- Prepared, together with the environmental specialist, an environmental assessment checklist and environmental impact assessment in the selected project towns.

Project Engineer (Response to Civil work, Contract controlling) - Associated to consultants and contractors to monitor project’s contracts. Evaluated the progress of the contracts and check the S-curve of the project in the civil works and environmental infrastructure construction. Directly monitored to Consultant and checked the site construction works with including roads, embankments, riverbank protections, drainage, canals, buildings, septage tanks, and resettlement tasks.
- Secondary Towns Urban Development Project, January 2001 - December 2002
Project Engineer (Response to CAEP, Resettlement work) - Response to the Community Awareness and Education Program (CAEP), which educate people in the project towns to aware to the environmental problems. Set up the plan to develop and educate and training both staff of Urban Development Administration Authorities (UDAAs) and people and student and teachers to know in the risk of the environment impact in the urban area. Made a plan and methodology and produce the material to give to the project town areas. Also made the key word for recommend to the staff of UDAAs. Set up the plan and have done in community participation.
- Responsible for community level discussions and mobilization, formation of an advisory committee, and community groups at the village levels. In each project towns need to gain in knowledge of distributing and displaying the materials for CAEP; educating beneficiaries in the proper use and Operation and Maintenance (O&M) of Project facilities; developing periodic surveys to check on community preference and responses; and monthly progress statements to the Project Implement Unit (PIU). Also the Land Acquisition and Resettlement plan have done for the improve of the living condition of the people who affected by the civil work in the project area. The method and methodology have prepared in the unit of Project Management Unit (PMU). In additional of the sanitation improvement in each project towns which need to improve the toilet also public and private. The plan and design need to consider and concentrate to the quality and appropriate to each situation in the project towns. In addition, solid waste problems which is occurred in each project towns need to be consider and monitoring and keep the city clean
