Implementing Projects in Sunning Hill Community

As a part of the group of the Sunning Hill Community Development Committee, I assisted with project document proposal writing and supervise the formulation of community’s Priority Plan and Profile for funding agency to have information regarding the community. for New Sunning Hill Basic School.
Students ages 3-6 years of the Sunning Hill community were formerly housed in a room at the local Primary School. Others were attending Arcadia Basic School which was housed in the basement section of a church. The environment was not conducive to learning.
Now they attend the New Sunning Hill Basic School.
I formulated a winning proposal that allowed for the approval of funding of the project.
The Bath Community Center is the site of the approved Multimedia project. The Bath Community Development Committee has procured computers and is in the process of procuring equipment such as video, digital cameras and fax machine. A team of youth has been trained to use the different types of technology equipment with a view for income generation at the site.
The water supply of Rowlandsfield is being upgraded. New pipes are being installed for the community. The group involved is the Rowlandsfield Community Development Committee Benevolent Society.

The Management Committee of the Hampton Court Community Center has purchased information technology items for the center. Items include computers, printers and copier. The center will be the home of the Training Center for youth in Customer Service. They will receive a skill that will fit them in the job market.
