| | Work Experience | Participatory Research in Asia (PRIA), Senior Executive program, April 2006 till date Have been in charge of two projects: ‘Women Political Empowerment and Leadership’ and ‘Gender in Institutions’ and gender resource person for all other projects in PRIA. Other job responsibilities include: - National level Gender Focal person with responsibility to mainstream gender in 12 states of India where PRIA works.
- Institutional gender mainstreaming in partners of PRIA and other CSO's
- Mainstream Gender in programs of PRIA, specially addressing gender issues in governance and civil society building.
- Design gender sensitization programs and build capacity of project participants.
- Served for two years in CGAMP (Committee for gender awareness and mainstreaming in PRIA) .
- Institutional networking and establishing linkages with organizations working on gender issues.
CARE – INDIA in Reproductive and Child Health, Nutrition & AIDS Program and Integrated Nutrition and Health Project, August 1997 to September 2004 Capacity Building Officer. Major Job Responsibilities included: - Constitution and strengthening of Master Training Teams
- Coordinate and link with District level training institutions
- Facilitate the capacity building of the project participants ranging from community, grass root level service providers, government officials, NGO partners, local governing bodies
- Monitor the capacity building efforts of the project and the impact
- Design community mobilization activities including SHG management and community based monitoring systems
- Develop behavior change communication, innovate strategies for sustainable impact
- Incorporate gender component in the project, as the gender equity was one of the major strategies
- Monitoring, Evaluation, Documentation of project progress, monthly reporting to senior management
- Financial management involving huge amounts of funds
