Depending on specific priorities and needs, we assist clients to minimize corruption in specific commercial projects, to promote long-term reforms that seek to strengthen institutions and regulatory systems against corruption or to raise awareness about private sector roles in fighting corruption. We also aim to be a knowledge center in the area ofprivate sector roles in fighting corruption. As a collaborative and sustained process of cooperation between stakeholders, Collective Action increases the impact and credibility of individual action, brings vulnerable individual players into an alliance of like-minded organizations, and levels the playing field between competitors. This program jointly developed with a business-oriented coalition of international organizations and NGOs, helps clients to design and implement Collective Action frameworks and developed an implementation guide for Collective Action and accompanying web-portal with best practices experiences. Business Ethics This program, developed with the United States Chamber of Commerce, aims to build capacity of business leaders on business ethics at the firm level through a blended approach comprising of the on-line course, face-to-face training and technical assistance. It complements our Collective Action against Corruption program as effective internal anti-corruption systems are a pre-condition for the successful implementation of Collective Action frameworks. |
