The World Bank Institute Disaster Risk Management program is working with Turkish partner universities BU, ITU, METU and the PIU unit of the Marmara Earthquake Emergency Reconstruction Project to develop a broad based training and capacity building program in disaster risk management for Turkish audience. The development of the program is supported by government agencies and the donor community.
