| 1. Closing Date |
Closing date for registration for the The World Bank Street Addressing Game Design Call for proposal is 30 November, 2006. Closing date for game design and prototype submission is 28 February, 2007. Any material received after that date will be returned.

| 2. Application Procedure |
Download the application form (Â .doc, 56kb, .txt, 1kb) and email it to Ms. Yarissa Sommer at ylyngdoh@worldbank.org. The application will ask you to check a box indicating that you are in agreement with the terms and requirements outlined below.

| 3. Privacy Policy |
The information you provide the World Bank will be kept in the strictest confidence, and no details will be shared with any agency outside the World Bank, with the exception of the panel of judges responsible for choosing the winner from the final candidates selected by the World Bank.

| 4. Submit your Proposal and Prototype |

The World Bank is not responsible for prototypes or other material that may be lost in the mail.
Be sure to include a complete set of game instructions in English, either in U.S. letter size or DIN A4. (Do not staple the sheets together.)
Also, please tell us briefly how the game works, what it aims to do, and how playing the game will achieve those goals.
Prototypes that do not make the final cut will be returned within two months after the winning prototype has been announced. When sending your prototype, please enclose an address label or card with the printed address to which you want your prototype mailed.

| 5. Communication Channels |
Except for the mailing of the prototype, all communication will be handled via email through the address given on this website. The designer of the selected design will be contacted by telephone. The runner-ups might be contacted by telephone as well.

| 6. Range and Suitability of Applicants |
The World Bank Street Addressing Game Design Competition is open to all individuals who will have reached the age of at least 21 by 15 March, 2007.. Since the winner will receive a contract from the World Bank, the individual must be eligible to receive a contract to work with World Bank Institute.  Firms are also welcome to enter the competition, provided the firm selects one individual to represent the company and acts as the direct contact with the World Bank.

| 7. Judging |
World Bank staff will select up to four entries that best achieve the goals outlined. The winning game will chosen by a panel of judges; the panel's decision is final.

| 8. Copyright |
The selected design will become the property of the World Bank; your name will appear on any games that are produced, and you will be credited as the inventor of the game. Games that are not shortlisted will be returned and may be re-used at the discretion of the designer.

| 9. Disclaimer |
The World Bank has the option of canceling this Request for Proposals at any time, or not selecting a winning design, if, in its opinion, none of the submissions meets the World Bank's game design objectives.
