The course consists of two parts. Part One covers key aspects of SEA including basic theories and procedures, and also introduces implementation and worldwide case studies, especially in the field of urban and regional planning. Part Two is designed to meet the client's needs. Currently, Part Two covers  the development of SEA in China; guidelines and procedures of SEA for development plans required by China's newly passed Environmental Assessment Law; and related Chinese case studies.
